Extension Aftercare
1. Brush With Care
Gently brush your extensions two to three times daily using the Babe Extension Brush (avoid using wet brushes or combs). Start by holding the bonds or wefts near your scalp with one hand and brushing the ends first. Work your way up to the root area, brushing gently to avoid pulling or catching the extensions. Section your hair and repeat for each row.
2. Wash With Care
Always brush your hair with your Babe Extension Brush before washing. Use a professional sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. When washing and conditioning, use the pads of your fingers between rows and the palms of your hands to apply the products in a downward motion through the ends. Avoid washing your hair upside down or piling it on top of your head.
3. Blow-Drying & Styling
To keep your extensions moisturized, choose hydrating or moisture-replenishing professional products like leave-in conditioners, oils, or heat protectants. Apply these products carefully, avoiding the bonds or wefts at the attachment points. Blow-dry your hair in a downward motion to keep it smooth and tangle-free. Use your Babe Extension Brush on wet or dry hair to detangle or during blowouts. Avoid blow drying upside down or roughly.
4. Bedtime Routine
Before bed, brush your hair with your Babe Extension Brush, making sure each row of extensions is carefully brushed. Secure your hair into a low, loose ponytail or braid. Sleeping on a satin or silk pillowcase is highly recommended to care for your extensions and prevent breakage. Never go to bed with wet hair, as this can cause tangling, matting, and breakage.
